Chenille is a plush, exceptionally soft fabric and yarn named after the French word for “caterpillar”
. Its signature fuzzy texture is created by placing short lengths of yarn between two “core” yarns and twisting them tightly together.
Common uses include heavy-duty upholstery, pillows, throw blankets, and drapery.
