Will Leather fade?
Anything in direct sunlight will fade. Our carpets fade, our draperies fade and of course hardwood flooring fades. Many leathers however have a much higher fade resistance than does upholstery fabric. As a general rule of thumb, if you own fabric and it has not faded, then you can bet your leather will not fade as long as you select the proper leather type with sufficient resistance. Some leathers have no fade resistance whatsoever ( typically referred to as naked ,unprotected or 0 coat leather) but are usually some of the softest leathers you will feel.
